17 LARGE GROOMERS                 5 SMALL GROOMERS

A St Lawrence County Groomer

St Lawrence County is the largest county in the state. We divide our county into grooming areas, to cover a total of 710 miles. We receive funding for 535 miles of our trail from our registration trail fund and the additional 175 miles are called club trails as they are funded thru membership funds and donations. SLCSA continues to work hard stretching our grant funds and your membership dollars to add and upgrade equipment. We are proud to say our groomers, sleds, and drags now total two million dollars in equipment.

Two St Lawrence County Groomers

Trails are groomed and maintained by the association and ten very dedicated snowmobile clubs across the county, under the umbrella of the St. Lawrence County Snowmobile Association. These volunteers operate the Association’s two million dollar inventory of 17 Large Groomers, give countless hours to the winter sport they all love, and take pride in providing safe and enjoyable trails for the entire family.

State Law Yield to Groomers: If you do see one of our groomers on the trail it is state law to yield to them. Stop, pull over and go slow (proceed with caution) once signaled to pass groomer by operator. Please show some respect with a friendly wave and do not spin your tracks and leave hazardous bumps in the groomed trail. Groomer operators would like to be out riding their sleds too, so show them your appreciation

Two million dollars worth of groomers are useless without INVALUABLE VOLUNTEERS to operate them!

OUR HEARTFELT THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!
